bedrest day

Yesterday the kdis and i had a vehicle to go to the park in, so we did. I also had errands to run. I ended up getting too much sun (though not at the park, it was the errands that did me in) and cauging more of a lupus flare. I also walked too much and am paying for that in my lower back anddown my left leg… today is also the day I’m doi8ng my 24 hour urine collecyion, so Im sticking close to the bed and bathroom.

I hate that you’re having such a difficult time with this Jenny! But I know it is all going to be so worth it in the end!
Hope you had fun with that 24 hour urine collection… I know I got pee everywhere when I did mine!
I hate it too, but I’ll be glad to have Littlest in my arms at the end. And I’m relieved that it appears as if my body is at least doing pregnancy right for once (as far as actually supporting Littlest, if nothing else) even if it’s neglecting self care in the process.
The 24 hour collection wasn’t too bad, they gave me a “hat” (I think that’s what Johnny said it’s called)… a thing that sits on the toilet seat and is like a bucket that tells you how much pee you got and has a special dent in it to help direct the pee into the container when I pour it in… so I wasn’t having to pee into the jug. I’d have been in trouble if I’d needed to do that. I probably would have taken one of our big tumblers and used it for that instead, since they don’t get much use anyway, so it wouldn’t have been a huge loss… and used a funnel to get it from the tumbler to the jug…. I can only imagine the mess that happened if they were having you pee into the jug.
